Abbie's Captive Coffee Date
Abbie checked her reflection in the bathroom mirror for what had to be the hundredth time, anxiously brushing her brown hair. Satisfied, she then checked her outfit, a sleeveless pink summer dress with white flower patterns, which she wore with brown wedge-heeled sandals and a pink silk scarf tied smartly around her neck. The young brunette exited the bathroom and went briefly into her bedroom to grab a white handbag before heading downstairs. “Going out sweetheart?” her father asked as he sat in the living room, grading papers. “I’ll be back later!” Abbie replied, heading for the front door. “What’s her name?” her dad teased, putting down his papers and grinning.
